Junior Content Marketeer

We are looking for a junior content marketeer

If you have some experience in the field of content marketing and are up for the challenge to create buzz about sustainable indoor farming, you’re in the right place!

You’ll be joining a team of 4 enthusiastic & driven professionals. We are passionate about our work and don’t mind to work hard. Creating a positive impact for our environment doesn’t happen by itself ;-)

We are looking for someone who has a can-do attitude and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty (maybe sometimes even literally). We don’t mind mistakes, as long as you take initiative and try to find the best solution for the problem.

Your responsibilities

  • Create digital content (video, photo, blogs, etc.), editorial plans and coordination;
  • Maintain all channels in cooperation with the team management: creating content for the website, writing mailings, creating social content;
  • Monitor and report on our social media presence, prepare overviews, analyses and interpretation of data;
  • Ensure the quality of content;
  • Join client meetings to fully understand the needs of the sector;
  • Collaborate with your colleagues to devise strategies that improve the position and brand awareness of Urban Harvest and promote sales.

You have

  • Creative initiative with great ideas, working individually to ensure you get things done;
  • Extensive knowledge of social media channels and features;
  • Passion for storytelling & social media;
  • Ability to write comprehensive and engaging content;
  • Ability to edit your own visual content (that doesn’t need to be in an Adobe program, whatever works for you);
  • Excellent communication skills and organisational approach;
  • Analytical skills — you like to get into the nitty gritty with a critical eye as well as having a big picture view;
  • Enthusiasm for sustainable (farming) topics and a very good feel for trends;
  • Fluency in English — Dutch and French are nice-to-haves;
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English;
  • Ability to respect deadlines, work autonomously and under pressure.

You get

  • An interesting and varied job;
  • Flexible hours with a focus on work/life balance;
  • Possibility to work partially from home;
  • Possibility to grow within the team;
  • Training & intensive exchange of knowledge and experience to ensure optimal deployment and growth of your skills and competences;
  • An opportunity to shape the business;
  • A salary that fits your expertise and mindset.

Your attributes

  • Collaboration – we know we cannot fix the world’s problems individually, we have to work together as a team to make that happen;
  • Communication – we are a small company and we work well together because we communicate clearly with each other. You must demonstrate why our mission is important to you: we want to hear why working with us means something to you;
  • Agility – what we do has never been done before. We are an innovative company and we constantly develop how we operate, we can always elevate what we are doing and never claim to have all the answers;
  • Accountability – we don’t micromanage. We hire individuals who know what needs to be done and can do so with minimal direction, taking ownership of their projects and deadlines;
  • Respect – we want everyone in our team to have respect for different people, different ideas, and different cultures. We can learn a lot from each other, but respect is key;
  • Empowerment – we provide an environment for growth and development. We need your help to develop our business, and we will help you develop in your career. The sky is the limit, given our ambitious growth plans.

Does this seem like a good fit to you?
